On Saturday, September 28th the 49th Street South Business Association, Gulfport Chamber of Commerce and the cities of Gulfport and St. Petersburg will co-sponsor the 6th Annual Tangerine Blues Fest on the Tangerine Greenway off 49th Street.
This FREE event will feature a powerful line-up of great blues bands:
- 9:30 am - Boilin Oil
- 11:30 am - Sycamore Shade Tree
- 1:00 pm - The Blue Grass Sound Band (Bluegrass Headliner)
3:00 pm - Charlie Morris
4:30 pm - Lauren Mitchell Band
6:00 pm - TC Carr
7:30 pm - Selwyn Birchwood (Blues Headliner)
So49.Org donates $5,000 to All Children’s Hospital

The 49th Street South Business Association, also known as So49.org, has donated $5,000 to All Children's Hospital, the money culled from the organization's highly successful Tangerine Blues Fest. So49.org, consisting of independent businesses along 49th Street South in Gulfport/St. Petersburg, more than quadrupled its donation from $1,200 in 2010.
